Transforming a beloved employee perk into a brand that fuels innovation

Google redefined workplace culture when it became the first to offer employees fresh, nutritious meals—completely free. More than a perk, the program built community, energized teams and fueled creativity.

To take this further, the Google Food team aimed to transform it into a truly inspirational experience, unified under the bold new proposition: “Fueling Moonshots.” This strategy highlights how Google Food doesn’t just feed—it creates spaces that ignite innovation and empower Googlers to dream big.

Leading the creative team, I drove the development of a vibrant visual identity centered on the Moonshot symbol. The fuel bars represent the energy Google Food provides, and the rocket stands for Googlers—the innovators. This symbol inspired a flexible system of custom infographics, iconography, and a bespoke typeface, making the entire visual identity cohesive and adaptable.

Ultimately, my team evolved Google Food into a dynamic experience that nourishes both body and mind, driving creativity and connection across the company.
