eBay Inc., parent company of eBay Marketplace, Pay Pal and StubHub, developed a new employee value proposition based on the idea of “Connected People, Connecting Commerce.” Internal teams agreed on the idea and value proposition, but were unable to see how this idea could be brought to life for
new employees.
I led a collaborative innovation session with key eBay Inc. stakeholders to develop activation ideas in a rapid, dynamic way. The focus of the session answered how the employee value proposition could influence the eBay hiring process and a candidate’s initial experience with the organization.
Output from the session was organized into a coherent journey with top ideas quickly prototyped leveraging found imagery and the eBay Inc. brand expression. The result was a visual document that brings to life a new employee’s relationship with eBay Inc.; from the first interview to the first day of work.
